 Great watch, silicon band has pros/cons, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Victorinox Swiss Army Men's Base Camp Watch 241462 (Watch) I saw this watch at a department store and was struck by it's great looks. The white Victorinox shield, and silver on black numbers were exactly the classy and simple look I wanted. The brushed metal numbers on the face catch the light and give them an appearance of depth. I compared the metal braclet with the silicon band, and chose the silicon for it's lighter weight. I find most stainless steel watches to be too heavy, but not this one. I live in a humid environment, so the silicon band does trap some sweat. Thankfully, it's narrow. I'm using the word "silicon" instead of "rubber" because it is much softer and more pliable than the rubber band on my $40 timex. The silicon band is a little sticky, and I've noticed it grabs some lint underneath by the buckle from long sleeves when resting my wrist to type on computer, etc. No regrets on the purchase, fantastic watch for the price (Amazon's price, not department store price!).
