In fact I own 4 of them and plan to increase my personal collection. However, I must say that even though the watch did fulfill my expectations at first, in the end there seems to be a problem with the quality of certain components. In this case in particular, I pressume there are two problems: First, there is a problem with the seal. After 4 months of regular use, the window is not crystal clear anymore but foggy on the inside (like there was moist behind the crystal).Second, the black pieces on the bracelet are starting to fade and turn silver. In other words, the strap is not scratch resistant and after just a few weeks I noticed a discoloration on the bracelet. The date function is of good size, easy to read, The picture Amazon uses does not do this watch justice, the copper inlays are quite nicely done and tend to catch the light, in person they stand out against the black background quite nicely. Black and silver linking is quite nice too. Country of origin on the tag is Swiss. Links were very easy to remove and clasp has the additional four holes for perfect fitting. Dial is 1 5/8" to the outer edge of black adjust ring and total case to first link on each side is 2" so not to huge. Width of band is 7/8" where you take out pins to adjust so be sure to have tool that handles that width. First I received the watch with smudged crystal. The smudge was on the inside so I had two options: pay the $28 flat fee for warranty services + shipping or try to fix it myself. Since I bought the watch for $89 marked down from $495 I decided to try to clean it myself. After I opened the watch and cleaned the crystal the watch looked very nice. Everything was normal until about couple weeks ago when the top button fell off. The black button ring is still there, but the piece that is pressed to start the stopwatch is missing. Now I can't use the stopwatch and the watch is no longer waterproof. What a piece of junk! |
