I had never heard of Golana (a Swiss watch manufacturer) so I didn't really have a wealth of information about its quality.The person I bought it for has Fossil and other mid-grade watches and considers this watch to be the nicest of the mix. I was going for a nice looking manly watch with clean lines that would attract an eye when worn but wasn't ostentatious. This watch did the trick. It looks big on a big man's wrist. It's heavy and has a sturdy feel to it. The person I bought it for was afraid to wear it to work so it does have that everyday/special occasion look to it as well. Will report back with any issues but so far working out of the box with no issues.
