Very nice watch. I did a lot of research on watches under $500.00. This watch seemed to fit the bill. It rivals an Omega in looks without it being a cheap copy of an Omega. Nice weight and sapphire crystal. IMO sapphire is the best, mineral crystals scratch too easily. Swiss Army is a very decent watch maker.

I have chosen this watch after over two months search for a simple reliable timepiece with Alarm function. In fact, I bought one, Seiko SNAC77, which is beautiful watch but as it seemed to me its Alarm was not loud enough. So decided to try this Swiss. It is solid, has a sapphire crystal, heavy like a real tank, and looks much better than in the picture. Its bezel/dial color has such a dusky-blue tone...I have not expected that I could like the way the watch looks but changed my mind the moment I pooled it out of the box. The hands and marks are luminous, and they glow for at least a few hours in complete darkness. Now the bad news. Although it is very easy to set Alarm, when it comes on it is barely audible, not even as good as in my Seiko. A bit disappointing, but I keep it anyway as this is an excellent watch for daily use.
