Swiss Army makes great watchs that stand the test of time. I bought my first in 1993 and it still works great.This watch is very handsome with a sweeping second hand (second hand doesn't "tick" from one second to the next), day of the week display up top and the date at the 6 o'clock position. I wasn't sure I would use all of the display information, but I actually do everyday when I update my voice mail ("Today is Monday the 24th and I am in..."). The face is large - like most of what has been coming out of Europe for the last few years, with a smart, clean brushed face. The overall size is on the large end, but it still looks appropirate on the hand, unlike some watches that are SO BIG that they are distracting & look almost amusing. When I went back to find it for my second son, they didn't have it but said they would order it. The price had gone up to where it was not feasible for me to purchase. I searched on line and found it here for $150 less than what the jewelry store was asking. Purchased it and was very please with the speed of arrival and the product itself.
