Like most analog watches, you must adjust the date following shorter months, but this is more a rite of ownership for a watch with simple aesthetics and pure function without the modern age automation. The strap can be a bit messy, but the stitching on the clean black leather definitely makes it stand out. If you like leather wrist straps, than you shouldn't take issue with this one, except in cases where sizing would be an issue. This one might be a bit tight for some.
