It's perfect for everyday use. It's very easy to read... even in the dark. The top button turns on a back light (indiglo-type). I didn't realize that a watch with a black face would glow. Very nice feature. The scratch resistance seems to work well. I scraped it against a wall and bumped it against a sink, accidentally, and there was no visible damage. I just wiped it off and kept going. Another nice little detail is that the strap has a simple, but effective "locking looper" that keeps the free end locked into place. The water resistance has only been tested with hand washing and showering. So far, no leaks. I've gone through a couple of cheap watches that I bought at one of those big box stores. They only lasted a couple of weeks before leaking and failing. This watch is worth the extra money for a much more functional product. |
