Having done quite a bit of railway travelling in Central Europe in my younger days. I remember seeing this kind of dial on every railway clock, and seeing this watch brought back many memories. However, the cheap look and finish of the material was a bit disappointing, and the way the band is attached to the case is not very elegant. Also, the unique 58-second full circle and 2-second full stop of the seconds hand (the way the railway clocks do) is not incorporated in the wristwatch version. Unfortunately the item I bought from WatchZone.com also had a faulty minutes hand...but the seller was most accommodating and gave me a full refund including return shipping. Next time, I think I'll go for this one: Mondaine - A6583033211SBB (Size: men)

This watch stands out because of its simplicity and I have gotten countless compliments on it. However, after about a year of owning it, it started to give me trouble (running slow, freezing, etc). I sent it back to the repair center several times and, after the last time when they returned it to me with a crack on the glass face, I decided to save my shipping and handling and only wear it as a bracelet. I still get compliments on the watch (especially when I switch to a bright red band), but its dirty little secret is that it doesnt tell the correct time.
