My husband bought me this watch as a Valentine's gift four years ago. It's the best watch I've ever had! The stainless steel looks great, cleans easily and doesn't turn my wrist green. It's basically waterproof, so I can wear it comfortably while swimming, showering, etc. It's a looser band so it slides around your wrist - I happen to like that vs. a tighter band. My boss borrowed my watch for a conference recently and didn't want to give it back. Just the right size to be feminine, yet numbers are easy to read. This watch is four years old and still look brand new. You might pay more than you would for your basic Timex, but it's well worth the investment.

This is a watch I'd been looking for for years. In appearance it's just like the cocktail watches of the art deco era--in function, it has the water resistance and sturdiness that I need to lead a normal life, not worrying about the watch. It's very small (as cocktail watches were), so great for a small wrist. Links can be removed from the clasp area of the band in order to make the band smaller. No bling--just classic modernist styling.
