This is a great watch. I was looking for a simple, classic watch and found this one. It is much, much better looking in person than the posted photos. The black band is mostly matte black, but the center of each link is glossy which adds a nice sparkle. The face is clean and simple, and is easy to read without all the stupid little dials that chronographs have. The dial is a great size - big enough to look nice, but not so big to look ridulous in a business setting. The numbers and hands are easy to read and shine brightly all night. And finally, the case is thick enough to have some mass, but does not hang up on shirt sleeves and coats like a diving style watch. In short, it is not only very good looking, but very functional for everyday use. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased the watch because of a review I read. It is a plain black watch with easy to read face both night and day. The date is also easy to read. The sapphire crystal is tough and does not scratch by bumping it. The watch is a nice size - larger than the pictures show.
